Zeina Barhoum has helped to put Jordan on the map with all her hard work that she does both here and around the world.
Barhoum’s voice hits the notes easily and sustains them, sweeping the stage.
The festival may just prove to be the perfect platform for emerging talent in music, art, acting, and design as classical operas are reinterpreted for the region and translated into Arabic. Bravo.
I just wanted to say how wonderful and amazing the performance was on Friday night. Zeina was absolutely tremendous and I loved every minute of it. Her voice was beautiful and had such depth and feeling. I haven't heard a voice like that in a long time. She also came across as a beautiful, gracious and very natural person. Her voice filled the space and the acoustics were brilliant.
She’s an amazing person and vocalist and my previous dislike of opera was literally overturned!.
Very well done for inviting beautiful Zeina to perform in Pilton, it was a privilege to have a talented soprano in an intimate setting, she is such a charismatic woman, her love and joie de vivre was very contagious, it was a truly memorable experience! I hope she will perform again in our area.
